Notice:- This is to bring to the notice of all citizens residing within the jurisdiction of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation that in terms of Sec-140 & Sec-160 of The West Bengal Municipal Corporation Act 2006 and the decision of the Board of Councillors, Simple Interest @ 10% and penalty @10% will be payable from 01.10.2023 against the arrear property tax as it stands on 31.03.2023.

Notice:- Property Tax collection for the F.Y: 2023-24 has started from 08.05.2023. Citizens can now pay the Property Tax online or by Cash/Cheque/Demand Draft at the HDFC bank branches within Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation area and Tax Collection Offices between 11 AM to 3 PM on any working day.

Property Tax for F.Y. 2023-24
A. For Ward no: 1 to 26: Property tax demand notices for the F.Y. 2023-24 in respect of the assessees residing within Ward no: 1-26 will be available on the website from 08.05.2023. Citizens can pay the Tax online or by Cash/Cheque/Draft at the following Tax Collection Offices between 11 AM to 3 PM on any working day, on and after 08.05.2023. Citizens residing within Ward no: 1-26 and willing to pay property tax by Cash/Cheque/Draft are requested to bring the copy of previous year’s property tax bill issued by BMC for online generation of the demand notice of (F. Y. 23-24) at the tax collection offices.

B. For Ward no: 29 to 41: Property tax demand notices for the F.Y. 2023-24 in respect of the assessees residing within Ward no: 29-41 will be available on the website from 08.05.2023. The citizens will also receive a hard copy of the bill by post from 2nd week of May 2023 onwards. Citizens can pay the tax online once it is available on the website or by Cash/Cheque/Draft at the following locations on receipt of the bill.
